Regina A.
Del Vecchio has over nineteen years experience representing major
and mid-sized companies, municipalities, health care providers
as well as individuals in both state and federal litigation.
For many
years, Regina has represented a major oil company in a variety
of litigated matters ranging from fuel farm accidents to fire
suppression and chemical exposure issues. She also is
involved with providing supervisory and local counsel to a
national food distributor involved in trucking litigation in New
York State. Most recently, she is actively engaged in
representing an international grocery retailer in litigated
matters in New York State.
In the health
care field, Regina is actively involved with providing
representation to a major local hospital in a variety of
guardianship related matters under Article 81 of the Mental
Hygiene Law. She also is serving at the request of the
Administrative Judge for the Eight Judicial District on an ad
hoc committee addressing issues confronting practitioners
under the Mental Hygiene Law of New York.
Regina
recently attended and completed mediation training approved by
the New York State Unified Court System's Office of Alternative
Resolution Programs. This program focused on all facets of
the mediation process, with an emphasis on developing the
necessary skills to serve as a mediator and techniques to more
effectively represent participants in the mediation process.
