Regina A.
Del Vecchio has over twenty years experience representing
major and mid-sized companies, municipalities, self-insured
corporations, health care
providers as well as individuals in both state and federal
litigation. Regina is a member and recently was elected to
serve as treasurer of the Western New York Trial Lawyer's
Association.
For many
years, Regina has represented a major oil company in a variety
of litigated matters ranging from fuel farm accidents to fire
suppression and chemical exposure issues. She is
involved with providing supervisory and local counsel to a
national food distributor involved in trucking litigation in New
York State. She also is actively engaged in
representing an international grocery retailer in litigated
matters in New York State.
Regina
has attended mediation training approved by
the New York State Unified Court System's Office of Alternative
Resolution Programs and has participated in both mediations and
arbitrations.
In the
health care field, Regina is involved with providing
representation to a major local hospital in a variety of
guardianship related matters under Article 81 of the Mental
Hygiene Law as well as counseling on HIPAA compliance. She also has served, at the request of the
Administrative Judge for the Eight Judicial District, on an ad
hoc committee addressing issues confronting practitioners
under the Mental Hygiene Law of New York.
