Deborah A. Kirby is a 1974
graduate of SUNY at Buffalo (B.S., School of Nursing) and a 1986
graduate of the SUNY at Buffalo School of Law and Jurisprudence
(Juris Doctorate). Debi has been involved in healthcare
for more than 38 years, ranging from clinical roles in intensive
care and emergency medicine, advancing through administrative,
management, teaching and research positions and, for the past 22
years, as a healthcare attorney and regulatory consultant.
Debi's practice has been
concentrated in the health, corporate and business law areas. The
range of her law practice is broad, including the provision of
legal services to solo, closely-held small businesses, mid-sized
and large multi-level business structures and publicly traded
entities. She has advised, formed and counseled business
corporations, not-for-profit corporations, limited liability
entities, a public benefit corporation and all types of taxable and tax exempt entities on a
wide range of issues, including regulatory compliance transactions, structuring,
restructuring, mergers, consolidations, acquisitions,
dissolutions, contracts, compliance and routine business
matters.
