Amy Meyer practices in the areas
of general business, corporate and health law. She
regularly advises business entities ranging from closely held
companies to
multi-national corporations on a wide variety of business
transactions including mergers and acquisitions, regulatory
compliance, contract negotiations and ownership transfers.
She has experience assisting clients with the development of
their business ideas from conception to execution, which
involves formation issues and the drafting and negotiating of
integral corporate contracts, such as distribution agreements,
management contracts, license agreements and employment
contracts.
Formerly, Amy
worked with a top medical device manufacturer on both corporate
and litigation matters. In that capacity, Amy coordinated
the defense of latex exposure claims, product liability lawsuits
and international contract disputes. She also worked
closely with the departments of purchasing, sales and marketing,
research and development, and operations to ensure compliance
and to enable the smooth transition of multiple acquisitions and
divestitures.
Amy received her
J.D. from the New England School of Law, where she was the
Business Managing Editor of the New England Law Review
and from whom she received the distinctive President's award for
her dedication to the law school, her fellow students and the
community.
